in january. michael shure is in san francisco. jayar jackson is in the studio here, so we have all these guys to talking to. mark, the last time you were in the studio you said in the high school debate they would say wait a minute, you got to be hospital, and you got to check your facts. how do you feel they did here? >> the thrilling moment of the area when he was fact checked in realtime by candy crowly. oh my gosh, it was like scripted drama where you couldn't believe the stunned look on his face. they were up on the back of his head you can see the screened capture how stunned he was. his whole attitude is typical of a guy who has never been questioned. he is the ceo, his way or the highway, and he dismissed you. it was incredibly--i'm not big on rules and regulations but it was stated clearly that the candidates were not allowed to directly question the other candidate. how many times did he do that, he did it over and over and over just like rick perry. i was surprised he didn't try to put his hand on obama's shoulder. >> cenk: it seemed like there was an inadvisable line like a force

. now we're going to bring in our political correspondent michael shure and on the phone congressman tim ryan from the great state of ohio. which is logical. congressman ryan, what is your sense of the state of the race in ohio? >> it's very close. a lot of polling has us up three or four points within the margin of error. there are several polls that have it neck and neck. we're doing really well on the ground game. there's--we've surpassed the 2008 number for early voting and obama is taking that at about 60%-30%. that's coming online. the weather has been bad. it's been cold and rainy. it's supposed to be nice starting friday, saturday, sunday, in which that will be solid for us to be able to get out the early vote the weekend before the election. but it's going to be close cenk. i mean, this is going to come down to the ryan. we're going to need people who will go out continue to volunteer and make sure that our voters get to the ballot box and that's how we're going to win. it will be a ground game. it will be grinding it out and it will be close right down to the wire. >> cenk: con
